Microsoft OLE DB Driver for SQL Server and Microsoft ODBC Driver 17 for SQL Server need to be uninstalled because during the installation of Microsoft SQL Server 2022 reinstalls Microsoft OLE DB Driver for SQL Server and Microsoft ODBC Driver 17 for SQL Server via Control Panel>>>Programs and Features.

Uninstall SQL Server Management Studio (Optional)

According to Microsoft, SQL Server Management Studio 19 (SSMS) is the least version that supports SQL Server 2022 and so you can uninstall SSMS version 17 or 18 series and install the current version of SSMS.

Download and Package SQL Server 2022

Download SQL Server 2022 Express from here.
